Communications Systems Planner, Senior

As a Communications Systems (CS) planner on our team, you’ll conduct analysis to determine the effectiveness and survivability of theater Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Intelligence (C4I) infrastructure/systems and provide short- and long-term strategic planning documents such as Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), roadmaps, After Action Reports, assessments, and information papers. Conduct analysis of deliberate and contingency planning efforts associated with C4 infrastructure/systems within the client missions. Provide recommendations regarding strategic and long-range plans. Provide analysis of OPLAN-specific issues for existing and future C4 system employment requirements. Provide briefings, POA&Ms, and whitepapers and analyze Installation Requirements Drawings, acquisition or systems engineering documentation, and system and platform specific requirements. You Have:

-10+ years of experience with planning, managing, and supporting C4I systems for the DoD

-Knowledge of competencies needed to support communications systems operation, maintenance, and life cycle supportability

-Ability to work effectively within staff processes supporting a four-star command

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-5+ years of experience with interfacing between internal and external stakeholders regarding C4I system policies, design, configuration, certification, installation, and integration challenges

-Experience in recommending process improvements to achieve efficiencies and cost savings, including interfacing with government technical project managers to ensure support provided meets or exceeds all work performance objectives and standards

-Experience in interacting with Air Force and sister Service senior officers

-Experience with aspects of C4 planning in support of exercises, contingencies and operations within a Communications Systems (X6) directorate in the Indo-Pacific Theater

-TS/SCI clearance preferred
