Campaign and Contingency Planner, Senior

Key Role: 

Serve as a primary point of contact on Army EOD and C-IED aspects of campaign and contingency plans, orders, policies, and programs. Conduct mission analysis, including creating staff estimates, courses of action, and decision support templates for base plans, annexes, appendices, and other products. Coordinate with Combatant Command (COCOM), Special Operations Command, other service component commands, and interagency officials to properly plan, prepare, and resource strategic and operational requirements. Participate in or facilitate Operational Planning Teams (OPTs), bureaus, boards, cells, conferences, working groups (B2C2WG) events, and information paper development, conduct operational and strategic assessments, respond to requests for information (RFIs) from higher headquarters, and prepare and submit RFIs. Participate in the identification, analysis, and evaluation of policy, processes, and systems related to EOD, C-IED, and improvised threats. Solve complex information requirements problems via a combination of analytic judgement and proven analytic practices. Prepare briefings and report on analysis methodologies and results.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with the DoD in Joint planning or a related field

-4+ years of experience in the INDOPACOM AOR

-2+ years of experience with the DoD in Joint or combined operations

-Knowledge of Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) and Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP)

-Ability to travel and participate in planning events up to 10% of time

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with EOD and C-IED

-PMP Certification

-SAMS Graduate or Army FA59

-Former Field Grade Officer or Senior Enlisted
