Chief Military Intelligence Systems Engineer

Key Role:

Lead a team of 30+ technical and systems delivery aligned staff within the Norfolk area.  Lead and conduct a variety of strategy, analytical, and engineering tasks regarding the development, operation, and maintenance of complex enterprise-level technology systems. Ensure the integration of processes of methodologies for total system performance. Leverage expertise in a variety of technical disciplines, including electronics, software, mathematical, and scientific specialties. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments and contribute to the advancement of industry knowledge in the area of expertise. Solve complex technical problems of critical importance to the intelligence community’s technical direction, serve as an expert in the field, and lead the development and implementation of key technologies for the organization. Drive over $5M of business annually in the military intelligence arena.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with program management and business development for large-scale DoD IT programs in military intelligence

-Knowledge of IT services and programs deployed for DoD customers, including mission systems, service desk systems, and data center, Cloud, or intelligence and non-intelligence software deployment platforms

-Knowledge of commercially available technologies to support Platform and Data as a Service, including open source tools and software

-Ability to manage 50+ FTE efforts, comprehend and manage a financial portfolio, manage quality delivery and risks across multiple workstreams, lead proposal efforts, and shape new business

-TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take a polygraph exam

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of DoD and intelligence systems and programs

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-MA or MS degree preferred

-PMP, ITIL, or Agile Certification
