Job Description

Job Number: R0039937

Cloud Security Architect, Lead

The Challenge:

Everyone knows security needs to be “baked in” to a system architecture, but you actually know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your knowledge of Cyber network, infrastructure, application architecture, accreditation boundary, DoD on-premise and Cloud services, and the DoD Risk Management Framework to lead the design and building of secure systems for Army and Air Force clients? We’re looking for an experienced technical leader who has a passion for this work and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and work hands on to create solutions for Army and Air Force clients that will stand up to even the most advanced Cyber threats.

As a lead on our project, you’ll be responsible for working through some of the toughest issues our clients face in Cyber today, including leading security and operations teams to design, implement, and operate solutions to support mission critical operations. You’ll coordinate work with in house teams and OEMs to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your client's IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you’ll advise on new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You’ll lead the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of DoD security and system requirements to ensure performance, availability, and sustainability requirements to address our clients’ needs. This is a chance to lead a team of experts to make a difference in the security, operability, and sustainability of our clients’ systems. You’ll lead efforts to help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices like endpoint based detection, response EDR, multi-factor authentication, identity and access management, and advanced analytics. You’ll be able to broaden your skillset while building peace of mind in a critical infrastructure. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to use Cybersecurity solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. Become a leader on our team as we help our clients move toward our clients’ vision of a secure digital enterprise that provides the foundation for their ability to optimize their use of data and information assets to strengthen the security of our nation through Cybersecurity.
