Cloud Security Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Perform analysis, conduct independent validations of assessments, and perform continuous monitoring for authorized Cloud Service Offerings (CSO). Support processes and procedures to document the execution of the analysis and validations. Assist the client with providing, assessing, and validating Cloud services for federal risk and authorization management program (FedRAMP) and work with clients to provide technical oversight and design guidance on their Cloud deployments. Provide oversight for the development of large-scale Cloud infrastructures across all phases of the systems design life cycle, including requirements specification, design, testing, and operational acceptance criteria. Implement DevOps technologies to automate and orchestrate secure Cloud deployments.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with Cloud security assessment methodologies
-3+ years of experience with securing architectures in Cloud computing environments, including Amazon Web Services (AWS)
-3+ years of experience with hardening multiple operating systems, including Linux and Windows 2012 and 2016
-Experience with STIGs and SCAP and interpreting vulnerability reports
-Experience with vulnerability scanning tools, including Twistlock, SonarQube, or Sonatype
-Knowledge of DevOps technologies, including Puppet, Chef, Docker, Terraform, OpenShift, or Ansible
-Knowledge of relational databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree

-AWS or Microsoft Cloud Architecture Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with providing technical support to client as a member of the federal risk and authorization management program (FedRAMP) and Joint Authorization Board (JAB)
-Experience with supporting briefings to Senior Government Leadership for FedRAMP
-Experience with performing reviews of security documents submitted for Cloud provisional authorization recommendation decisions
-Knowledge of programming languages, including C#, C++, JavaScript, SQL, PLSQL, ASP.NET, PHP, Ruby, Python, or Node.js

-Security+, CEH, or CISSP Certification preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
