Construction Project Scheduler

Key Role:

Provide technical construction scheduling support, including advising and making recommendations and conducting analysis related to current and future military structures. Assist with developing and maintaining a program schedule for multiple complex land development projects using Microsoft Project and Primavera. Collect project schedule information from various sources to maintain an accurate program schedule, provide detailed analysis of the project schedule to assess real and estimated impacts to the timeline and assist with the preparation of reports and presentations on the program schedule. Assist program managers with leveraging the program schedule to coordinate program activities. Create, modify, and present models using Navisworks in the development, manipulation, and presentation of complex land development projects using scheduling data from Primavera in coordination with program teams.

Basic Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with using AutoCAD or Civil 3D Navisworks and Primavera P6 in Microsoft Project

-1 year of experience with working on projects covering the overall mission, organization, functions, capabilities, administration, and operations of the military

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Knowledge of DoD policies and regulations related to travel and security clearances

-Knowledge of Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) between the US and Japan

-Knowledge of horizontal and vertical construction, architecture, land development, utility systems, space allocation, functional layout, design and development processes, construction means and methods, and US and Japanese construction practices

-Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative methods and techniques to develop support deliverable criteria and metrics covering complex program mission and functions related to construction programs

-Ability to obtain security clearance required

-HS diploma or GED required.

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of the development of executive-level correspondence and the management of programs involving executive-level participants

-Ability to read and write in Japanese
-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree
