Construction Surveillance Technician, Senior

Key Role:

Monitor and detect unauthorized access to internal controlled areas during the construction period. Deter the implantation of clandestine surveillance devices or systems by construction workers. Control access to the construction site. Apply knowledge on how electrical systems come together towards the identification of any unauthorized material or clandestine devices during installation. Leverage expertise in technical surveillance techniques and procedures and foreign intelligence and counterintelligence devices and techniques. Use biometric, radiological, and electronic monitoring or detection tools.

Basic Qualifications:

-6 years of experience with construction or experience with security in SCIF construction or physical security in lieu of 2 years of experience with construction

-Experience with the 16 standard divisions of construction

-Experience with structural steel, welds, fireproofing, and associated QA or QC practices and systems and associated technical exploitation tactics

-Experience with foundations and footings, including concrete, reinforcement bar, caissons, footers, forms, and associated QA or QC practices and systems and associated technical exploitation tactics

-Experience with electrical systems, including distribution, power, low voltage installation, conduit, and circuit breakers

-Experience with telecommunication systems, wiring, splicing, patching, switching, and how telecommunication wiring and devices provide a path for listening devices and potential power source for clandestine devices

-Knowledge of the ICD/ICS-705 version September 28, 2017

-Knowledge of technical or mechanical components or systems on plumbing and HVAC or mechanical systems, including chillers, condensers, air ducts, and pipe components in secure environments typically used in US SCIFs and associated QA or QC practices and systems and associated technical exploitation tactics

-Top Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED
