The Challenge:

You know the secret to a successful project is tracking the balance between resources and performance. You can look at metrics, identify risk indicators, and plan changes to keep the project within budget and on time while achieving goals successfully. What if you could use those project analysis skills to make a difference within the Federal Project Management workforce. We have an opportunity for a project analyst to join our team as we develop, evaluate, and analyze cost models, estimates, budgets, spend plans, business cases, and performance metrics for the client's projects and initiatives.

On our team, you’ll monitor cost, schedule, and performance using tools like Microsoft Excel, Project, and other analytical software tools and have daily interactions with subject matter experts, schedulers, and program acquisition managers. The real power of project analysis comes from communication, so you’ll use analyses to support successful program acquisition milestone reviews, support contract negotiations, prepare program budget submittals, perform cost initiatives to improve program efficiency, and evaluate the costs of multiple future program options. You will be given the opportunity making experience based recommendations for improvement to project leadership. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. You Have:

-3+ years of experience with cost estimation

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

-Ability to critically assess data and communicate priority findings to teams 

-Ability to work with multi-stakeholder, technical, and matrixed organizational environment

-Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage client and team relationships

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree 

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with supporting programs and contracts within the federal government 

-Experience with RS Means, Crystal Ball or other cost estimating software

-Experience supervising and leading teams

-Experience with DoD acquisition and support of major milestones

-Experience in performing statistical regression analysis, learning curve analysis and other data analyses, including Monte Carlo simulation

-Ability to be flexible, show initiative and innovation, and deal with ambiguous and fast-paced situations 

-Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
