Counterintelligence Technical Analyst

Key Role:

Provide support to the full range of counterintelligence (CI) activities, including CI investigations and operations and conducting CI analysis. Assist with managing all aspects of a Badge and Credentials (B&C) database, including searches for identifying information, such as name, badge numbers, photo, unit, and printing information for credentials. Assemble US Army intelligence (USAI) B&C materials, ensure the maintenance of the accuracy and completeness of USAI B&C databases, including automated and hard copy, and transmit USAI B&C materials.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience in counterintelligence operations

-Experience in working with Microsoft Office Suite

‐Knowledge of B&C control and accountability processes and procedures

‐Knowledge of intelligence oversight and security guidelines

‐Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret regulatory guidance

-Ability to be qualified for USAI B&Cs for work in an authorized position

-TS/SCI clearance

-AA or AS degree and 5 years of experience as a counterintelligence special agent equivalent to Army MOS 35L, 351L, AOC 35E, or GG-0132 government civilian equivalent

-Graduate of the Counterintelligence Special Agent Course or the Counterintelligence Officers Course or equivalent CI Training Academy

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of the regulatory requirements for the issue and control of USAI B&Cs and Rep Creds

-Knowledge of AR 381-20 and AR 381-10

-Knowledge of regulatory processes and procedures of issuing USAI B&Cs and Rep Creds to Army Component 2 and 3 soldiers

-Knowledge of intelligence support to war fighting operations

-Knowledge of who, what, and when to issue USAI B&Cs and Rep Creds to units deploying in a contingency operation

-Knowledge of Army Training Management cycles and current pre-deployment training requirements

‐Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to present classes to counterintelligence students

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to effectively perform duties, including contacting field grade officers and senior civilians

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
