Cyber/BPR Workstream Consultant, Senior

Key Role:

Provide auditing and compliance duties, including supporting audit readiness for the client. Analyze the client's overall enterprise audit readiness process design continually and provide recommendations on how effectiveness could be improved to mitigate conditions that could impair future audit preparedness. Perform other audit readiness activities, including reviewing and evaluating findings, making recommendations for audit readiness, evaluating the Recommendation Completion Form (RCF) and Progress Status Report (PSR) narratives and evidence, and providing recommendations for improvements prior to submission. Contribute to presentations and participate in audit finding debriefs to represent client interests. Perform remediation activities for high priority findings. Establish and deliver workshop sessions to educate impacted stakeholders on the contents of their audit readiness packages.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with executing NIST risk and security controls guidelines and special publications or documents

-Knowledge of Cyber threat capabilities and technical capabilities to defend networks and systems

-Knowledge of network operating systems, SLAs, and service work

-Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and be comfortable informing or briefing senior officials, when appropriate

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with working on IT audits and assessments in a lead role preferred

-Knowledge of networking fundamentals desired

-Ability to analyze data, including translating and reporting complex data sets using Excel or similar data spreadsheet tools

-Ability to analyze and develop information-based solutions to complex cross-functional business challenges, including creating process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted business systems teams

-Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous tasks

-Ability to manage junior staff, review work products, and provide direction and feedback

-Ability to document business processes, including process mapping using MS Visio or similar application

-Ability to work with stakeholders to capture business requirements and develop performance metrics

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to clearly and concisely document Cybersecurity vulnerability details and escalate appropriately, when required

-Possession of excellent client management, initiative, and critical thinking skills

-CEH Certification preferred
