Cyber Operations Research Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Leverage analytical support for projects and activities in the implementation of Cybersecurity program management and information assurance investments for Naval Network Enterprise and the Information Warfare domain. Conduct evaluation of threat vulnerabilities via Web-based data repository utilizing readiness reporting systems and Tableau data visualizations to determine, if best practices and policy compliance are followed. Support duties and activities that assist the government with activities that will fully automate, integrate, manage, and document all phases of Cyber-security support. Maintain responsibility of daily contact with client staff action officers and stakeholders for information and data collection and participate in client meetings. Develop executive level program briefs to ensure conformance of all work products with existing DoD and DoN policies. Support team leads in strategy development to update and improve processes and plans across functional areas to help execute Information Warfare Enterprise missions and tasks.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with Cyber vulnerability assessment and security tools

-3+ years of experience with operations research

-Experience with Navy Cybersecurity and Naval Network Enterprise operations

-Experience with DoD-DoN IT and Network and related efforts

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

-Ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in data visualization and business intelligence

-Ability to interact in cross functional team meetings and professional environments

-Secret clearance

-AA or AS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with working on Navy Type Command (TYCOM) staff

-Experience with network analysis, vulnerability, remediation and Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager asset management tools

-Experience with Readiness Kill Chain methodology

-Experience with data visualization, statistics, data modeling and machine learning

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-ITIL v3 Foundations Certification

-CISM Certification

-CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)

-BA or BS degree
