Cyber Penetration Tester, Mid

Key Role:

Plan, coordinate, and perform red team and penetration testing technical assessments. Maintain communication between system owners and the assessment team, including before, during, and after test events. Develop test plans and perform management and administrative functions for the assessment team, including data gathering, exploit approval, and report generation after test activities. Maintain assessment team processes and procedures and manage the maintenance of the standardized testing platform. Develop checkride procedures and conduct checkrides to certify new team members.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with penetration testing

-Experience with operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and UNIX variants and embedded and real-time operating systems

-Experience with one or more of the following scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ruby

-Experience with multiple offensive tools and technologies, including Metasploit, Cobalt Strike, Core Impact, Burp Suite, SDR, Wireless, and Intercepting Proxies

-Secret clearance

-HS dipoma or GED and 7+ years of experience with penetration or BS degree

-DoDD 8570 IAT Level II Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire

-Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certification

-One or more of the following certifications: GPEN, OSCP, or OSCE or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with penetration testing in a DoD or Navy environment

-Experience with system administration, networking, Computer Network Attack (CNA), Computer Network Exploitation (CNE), and Computer Network Defense (CND)

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree in CS, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
