Cybersecurity Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Work with a highly collaborative, fast-paced software development team, developing Enterprise products in the Cybersecurity domain. Execute Cybersecurity activities to secure systems and perform compliance and information assurance (IA) activities, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Assessment and Authorization). Support security engineering and vulnerability responses, monitor the security posture, including task orders, operational orders, and advisory messages. Develop and maintain all RMF and Cybersecurity-related documentation, procedures, business processes, POA&M, and authorization and accreditation. Support end-user product training on the RMF tool. Contribute to the design and innovative integration of Cybersecurity toolsets to enable more automated discovery, remediation, and alerting of network and device vulnerabilities as a means of improving the security posture while reducing manpower requirements. Leverage knowledge of IT, networks, systems, and software and Web application architecture.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with IT, software and systems, and Web applications

-Experience with NIST SP 800-53 security controls

-Experience with NIST policy and RMF, including DoD, Civil, or Intelligence Community

-Ability to learn and comprehend technical systems engineering concepts, including networks, vulnerabilities, communication and encryption protocols, Web application architecture, and Cloud

-Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with configuration management

-Experience with authoring technical documentation, including System Security Plans, Configuration Management Plans, CONOPS, COOP Plans, or POA&M

-Experience with the systems development life cycle (SDLC) and supporting software development teams

-Experience with programming and scripting languages, including Python, JavaScript, C#, C++, or Java

-Experience with Cybersecurity technologies, policies, and information assurance, including DIACAP, RMF, Continuous Monitoring, and FISMA

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, IT, Business Information Technology, or a related field preferred; MA or MS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, IT, Business Information Technology, or a related field a plus

-DoD 8570 Compliant IAT II Certification or higher, including CISSP, Security+, Network+, or Certified Ethical Hacker
