Cybersecurity Operations Specialist, Senior

Key Role:
Provide DoD and NISPOM information assurance security guidance to a defense client, including analyzing, implementing, and maintaining programs, policies, and procedures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of systems, networks, and data. Ensure computer information systems, networks, and network interfaces are secure. Determine and grant levels of access to persons and protect against Cyber threats and Cyber-crime. Identify and mitigate information vulnerabilities and train the client on IA and Cyber best practices, procedures, industry standards, processes, and protocols. Develop, administer, and conduct IA training, coordinate with the client’s Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), and conduct risk assessments on systems and networks in accordance with DoD and government agency regulations and policies, as required.

Basic Qualifications:
-10 years of experience as a Cyber subject matter expert (SME)
-Experience with the Special Access Program (SAP) or Special Access Required (SAR) programs
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
-Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent network certification

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with international security cooperation programs, including Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
-Experience in Japan, including working with the Japanese Ministry of Defense (JMoD)
-Knowledge of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program a plus
-Ability to work well with people of other cultures
-Possession of excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills
-TS/SCI clearance preferred
