Cybersecurity Risk Management Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Support an acquisition program in the design and fielding of special purpose combat and weapons systems. Provide oversight of vendor deliverables related to Cybersecurity system designs and control implementation. Participate in working groups and integrated product teams by representing Cybersecurity interests and actively working to present Cybersecurity risk to engineers, testers, and program managers. Provide input into the integration of Cybersecurity engineering functions into the systems engineering process.

Basic Qualifications:

-8 years of experience with special purpose IT systems or platform control systems in DoD and the Department of the Navy (DON)

-Experience with systems engineering, electrical engineering, or marine systems

-Knowledge of DoD and DON Cybersecurity policies and NIST publications

-Ability to process system engineering documents for Cybersecurity impacts

-Ability to translate Cybersecurity compliance and policy requirements into action-oriented objectives

-Ability to work cohesively in a team environment and interact with senior leaders

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-DoD 8570 Certification Level I or II

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with surface or submarine platform systems

-Knowledge of advanced Cybersecurity architectures and SA tools

-Ability to lead a workstream with little oversight

-Possession of excellent oral and written presentation skills

-Top Secret clearance

-DoD 8570 Level II Certification
