Database Subject Matter Expert

Key Role:

Design, implement, and manage databases and data delivery systems and transform it into beautiful insights, analysis, and reporting. Comprehend database design and implementation tools, such as entity-relationship data modelling and SQL, distributed computing architectures, operating systems, storage technologies, memory management and networking enables to create structure and value out of complex and ambiguous technical challenges with little guidance. Leverage experience with structured and unstructured data, streaming and batch data processing, ETL, data wrangling, data ingest, and data access.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with relational and NoSQL database management systems

-5+ years of experience in developing enterprise-wide database solutions using Oracle, and MongoDB

-5+ years of experience in data modeling, including logical and physical, SQL, PL/SQL, DBMS packages, Stored Procedures, and Triggers

-Experience in database integration with open source UI frameworks and COTS products, including Hibernate, DaaS API, ETL, and batch processing

-Experience in performance tuning, database resource management, including storage, memory, CPU, solving complex integration challenges, and scripting, Shell, Python, and Scala

-Experience with handling structured and unstructured data

-Ability to provide technical guidance

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in providing subject matter expertise on data architecture, database design, and implementation for end-to-end database solutions on cloud-based distributed database platforms, including AWS RDS, and EC2

-Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Gitlab is a plus

-Oracle Certified Professional, and AWS Certified Architect Certification
