Defense System Acquisition Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Support the DoD enterprise. Assist the DoD with developing acquisition service offerings across an enterprise and provide acquisition guidance or support to associated DoD offices in developing and evaluating acquisition strategies, performing analyses, developing and review documentation, and providing defense systems acquisition expertise in support of developing, acquiring, and fielding Navy systems. Develop acquisition guidance and recommend policy to the DoD. Serve as a developer of program acquisition information for programs of record and review acquisition program information submitted, as part of a milestone decision package and other reviews. Perform milestone or decision review planning and analysis. Research and implement all higher echelon guidance and mandates defined in DoD. 

Basic Qualifications: 

-5+ years of experience with DoD acquisition programs, including ACAT I-IV and AAP performing systems acquisition 

-Experience with DoD or SECNAV 5000 instructions and the development of associated acquisition documents 

-Experience with executing schedule requirements 

-Experience with risk management 

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite 

-Secret clearance 

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications: 

-Experience with ACAT I program 

-Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DFARS 

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills 

-Possession of excellent organizational skills 

-BA or BS degree or 9 years of experience in a related field preferred; MA, MS, MBA, or JD degree a plus 

-DAWIA Level III in Program Management or PMP Certification 

-PMI RMP Certification
