Key Role:
Monitor, analyze, detect, and respond to Cyber events and incidents. Evaluate and assess operating practices to determine adequate risk management and compliance standards. Generate products that contribute to planning and directing defensive Cyberspace operations on military networks. Support dynamic Cyber defense and deliver operational effects, including intrusion detection and prevention, situational awareness and data spillage. Maintain a secure Cyber environment through configuration management, administration, and response actions. Comprehend the military's network defensive, assessment, vulnerability, and monitoring capabilities and reports. This position is located in Yongsan, Seoul, South Korea 50% of the time and Camp Humphreys 50% of the time; it will transition to Camp Humphreys permanently by the end of 2021.
Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience with Cybersecurity, enterprise monitoring, network performance management, or network operations or 6+ years of experience with computer network defense
-Knowledge of network security, Cyberspace security, and vulnerability analysis
-Ability to apply and communicate principles, theories, and concepts within Cyberspace operations to US and foreign military, federal agencies, and civilian organizations
-Active TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree in CS or IT or completion of 20 semester hours in CS or IT and a CS or IT certification
-DoD 8570 IAT II Industrial Qualifying Certifications, including Network+, or CCNA
-Ability to obtain a IAT Level III Certification within 6 months of hire
Additional Qualifications:
-Ability to show Korean Defense Language Institute Qualifications of 1/1/1 in comprehension, reading, and speaking, Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) Level 2, or other proof of fluency
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
