Digital Marketing Strategist

Key Role:

Shape the future of Booz Allen’s digital presence by leading digital marketing and demand generation strategies to strengthen Booz Allen’s brand and reputation and drive revenue as a member of corporate affairs. Leverage experience with audience segmentation and targeting, content and channel strategies, and generating demand across clients’ decision-making journey to design, implement and evaluate firm-wide digital marketing plans. Work closely with cross-functional business leads, corporate and account-based marketers, creative, media, and technical and channel strategists, to establish digital objectives, develop strategic plans and guide content and tactics across multiple channels that drive successful business outcomes. Plan, develop and execute inbound and outbound digital marketing strategies for corporate and account-based priorities. Use data and insights to both evaluate tactics and campaigns and drive strategy. Maintain comprehension of current and emerging trends, methods, and technologies, and provide thought leadership and guidance. Help drive evolution of integrated platforms, digital marketing strategies, audience engagement, and analytics.

Basic Qualifications:

-10 years of experience in developing digital communications and digital marketing strategies to dive business results

-Experience with enterprise content management systems, including Adobe, SiteCore, social media management tools, such as Sprout Social, Sprinklr and digital monitoring platforms Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Radian6, and Facebook Insights

-Experience with digital measurement frameworks, establishing goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and analyzing and reporting on insights to measure performance, driving strategy, and increasing returns on investments (ROI)

-Experience in developing strategy for content development and dissemination across channels and across the buyer’s journey to drive audience engagement and actionable results

-Experience in generating and nurturing leads through a mix of tactics and developing plans to drive prospects through demand funnel

-Knowledge of assessing and using marketing technologies and driving adoption of new tools and tactics to meet goals, improve processes, and increase efficiency of marketing operations

-Knowledge of digital strategy, design, production and project management including tactics to leverage Web, email, social media, search engine optimization (SEO), paid, and employee brand advocacy

-Ability to build and execute digital campaigns across multiple, concurrent priorities using an integrated mix of paid and organic strategies at an enterprise level using matrixed resources

-Ability to operate across an organization to build relationships to work with and influence diverse, multiple stakeholders at various levels of seniority

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with digital strategy in a consulting, professional services or agency environment

-Experience with B2B and B2G digital marketing

-Experience driving transformation of digital strategies, technologies, processes or resourcing for an enterprise

-Experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

-Experience in managing email marketing campaigns, including leading generation, A/B testing and metrics

-Experience in developing digital advertising campaigns

-Experience in creating or advising on Web content and online

-Ability to work individually and in a collaborative team environment

-Ability to multitask across multiple projects and clients to effectively manage priorities

-Ability to be a strategic thinker who has an insatiable thirst for learning about, and educating others on the latest digital tools, processes, and best practices

-MA or MS degree or MBA in marketing, communications, public relations, digital marketing, or related field of study

-Certifications in digital marketing, inbound marketing, marketing automation, search engine optimization, user and customer experience, demand generation, and content strategy
