Key Role:

Provide editorial subject matter expertise and support the task management process. Edit products in the formal staffing process through the Command Task Management Program prior to command group review and document trends requiring leadership involvement. Serve as a focal point for Component Command and Joint Staff counterparts, ensuring efficient dissemination of Command-level taskers, guidance, and policy. Provide customer service support for action officers seeking assistance with obtaining, building and dispersing information internally and externally. Use technology applications to ensure staff action packages meet strenuous quality standards before command group review.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience as an editor with the military or government

-Experience in working with the front office at Flag Officer- or General Officer-level staff

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

-Ability to type 35 words per minute (WPM)

-Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with a Task Management Tool (TMT)

-Possession of excellent consulting skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-TS/SCI clearance preferred
