Electronic Warfare Planner

Key Role: 

Support electronic warfare (EW) policy, planning, and operational and programmatic work for a special operations client. Integrate EW support, electronic protection, and electronic attack capabilities and effects into special operations plans, operations, and targeting processes or systems. Support the client by applying expertise in EW to bilateral and multi-lateral engagements and exercises. Comprehend the interrelationship of EW and information operations, Cyberspace operations, spectrum management operations, and signature reduction programs and provide recommendations to the client that integrate and de-conflict these operations during maneuver, targeting, fires, and force protection. Coordinate the development of EW policy papers and provide input on strategic and operational plans independently and with minimum oversight, including the EW tabs for special operations OPLANs and CONPLANs, operational concepts, CONOPS, and OPORDS. Deliver information and decision briefs to client senior leaders, higher headquarters, and external stakeholders. Coordinate for intelligence support to EW plans and operations. Produce efficiencies and maintain situational awareness for the command by coordinating laterally with a network of EW military and civilian professionals throughout the European area of operations, other Combatant Commands, and the DoD.
 
Basic Qualifications: 
-6+ years of experience with EW planning and operations for the DoD
-Experience with implementing the Joint Operational Planning Process or graduate of Joint Professional Military Education 1 (JPME I)
-Experience with preparing and presenting compelling, decision quality senior leadership briefings
-Experience with operating on or controlling EW ranges for testing and evaluation.
-Active TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree
 
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience as an EW or electronic intelligence officer or senior NCO Preferred

-Experience with information, Cyberspace, and spectrum management operations and communications, signature reduction OPSEC/MILDEC, security assistance and cooperation, air defense, and inter-agency coordination a plus 
-Experience with electronic intelligence analysis, intelligence operations, or targeting 
-Experience with the European area of responsibility a plus

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BS degree in Engineering, IT, Physics, or related technical field preferred
