Enterprise Architecture Analyst

The Challenge:

Everyone knows security needs to be “baked in” to a system architecture, but you actually know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your knowledge and project management expertise of Enterprise Architecture skills to plan, coordinate the Joint Information Environment (JIE) and Mission Partner Environment (MPE) capabilities to enable information sharing, collaboration and interoperability. We’re looking for an Enterprise Architecture support analyst who can provide project management, maintain and update Implementation plans, provide research analysis, analyze use cases and determine best set of architecture artifacts for each phase of USINDOPACOM JIE/MPE development.

As an Enterprise Architecture support analyst on our project, you’ll analysis, and recommendations for the production of architecture artifacts based on the analytical findings of the DoD Enterprise Architecture and Engineering Panel (EAEP) and the Enterprise Architecture and Service Board (EASB) that contributes to USINDOPACOM. You’ll work with JIE/MPE clients and team members to provide recommendations in the development of USINDOPACOM strategy for implementing JIE/MPE objectives and solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you’ll investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. As a team, we’ll take a critical approach to conducting Cyberspace and Cybersecurity research and analysis of critical architecture within the USINDOPACOM AOR and provide analysis and recommendations for the production of DODAF products that create enterprise architecture models and reports in the area of information assurance, Cybersecurity. This is a chance to learn from a team of experts as you make a difference in the security of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework. Your contributions will help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices, enabling information sharing, collaboration and interoperability that can be provided in a federated, franchised, or centralized business model. You’ll be able to gain experience in assisting in developing, planning and implementing the next generation Enterprise Information Architecture. You Have:

-3+ years of experience with geographical combatant command or similar theater-wide architectures and program management

-Experience with IT project management and architecture development, including DoDAF) in DoD environment

-Experience with Joint Information Environment ((JIE) and Mission Partner Environment (MPE) IT to support Combatant Command Director of J6

-Knowledge of JIE and MPE capabilities, tools, and framework

-Knowledge of Microsoft office tools, including Project, Word PowerPoint Excel and Outlook

-Ability to plan and coordinate the JIE and MPE capabilities needed to enable information sharing, collaboration and interoperability that can be provided in federated, franchised or centralized business models

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with Cybersecurity analysis, computer network defense, incident response, or a related field

-Experience with leveraging all sources of Cybersecurity architecture framework and methodologies

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills in a professional consulting environment

-BA or BS degree in information security, CS, or Cybersecurity
