Environmental Project Manager

Key Role:

Compile the administrative record for restoration and remediation projects, update the environmental record and document management process, organize electronic files, and determine and implement disposition and retention requirements. Prepare files for the Geospatial Information System (GIS), review environmental regulatory requirements for facility projects, and coordinate and oversee completion of activities in all phases of the project life cycle. Prepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders. Collect requirements, prepare SOWs, conduct market research, and develop other documentation, as appropriate. Conduct technical reviews and evaluate project solicitations, proposals, quotes, and proposed change requests. Review and approve drawings and submittals, conduct site visits, and assist with the preparation of the Contractor Performance Report (CPR) upon contract closeout.

Basic Qualifications:

-2 years of experience in the environmental science or policy field

-Experience in environmental safety

-Experience with managing projects

-Ability to handle multiple, demanding, and complex projects in a timely manner with accurate results

-Ability to work nights and weekends for operational necessities, as required

-Top Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree in Environmental Policy or Science

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of and commitment to sound program management techniques

-Ability to be highly motivated to continue to develop professional licenses, certifications, and expertise through formal training and on-the-job expertise

-Ability to work independently and as a team player

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate well at all organizational levels

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph preferred

-BA or BS degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related technical field

-Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification

-NCIDQ Certification

-Professional Project Management Certification

-Architect License
