Finding the data, enhancing the data, and partnering with stakeholders to make the data available enables a wide range of techniques, models, analysis. As a Booz Allen geospatial and data analyst, you’ll be working with a team of analysts, domain experts, data managers, and others. Using tools like ArcGIS, Google Earth, and others, you’ll build the partnerships, find and enable the data, and help to find the patterns to answer our client’s needs. You’ll develop your skills as you use Python, R, and other scripts to work with shapefiles, geodatabase, WMS/WFS, and other data. This data enables the creation of various visualizations to make sure our clients and their stakeholders have the timely information they need. We focus on growing as a team, so we’ll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop workflows. You Have:
-Experience with using geospatial software tools, including ESRI ArcGIS and Google Earth and geospatial data
-Experience with large structured and unstructured data sets in various formats, including shapefile, file geodatabase, personal geodatabase, and geojson and via WMS, WFS, WMTS, and REST services

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook

-Ability to access and categorize multiple sources of data, including real-time and dynamic, imagery, LIDAR, and open source for use by the community
-Ability to coordinate inter-agency geospatial meetings, stakeholder geospatial Webinars, and related partnership efforts
-Ability to comprehend an organization's mission and requirements and develop innovative products to support their mission
-Ability to give presentations and explain geospatial tools and data requirements to stakeholders
-Ability to work independently and accomplish goals and tasks with minimal assistance

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in Geography or Geospatial Science
