Global Force Management and Logistics Planner, Mid

Key Role:

Assist a US Air Force Major Command (MAJCOM) logistics directorate in the planning and managing of Global Force Management (GFM) requirements in the INDOPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). Monitor, track, and advocate for headquarters requirements in the Global Force Management (GFM) process and play an active role in the integration of PACAF inputs for Agile Combat Support (ACS) functional areas. Manage, analyze, and provide recommendations on all ACS personnel and equipment requirements for future Global Force Management (GFM) and Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) taskings for PACAF. Coordinate with Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Combat Command (ACC), and the Air Force Personnel Center (AFPC) to provide a 2-year forecast of PACAF forces that are available to support other Combatant Commanders while maintaining PACAFs abilities. Coordinate and analyze GFM policies. Conduct daily review of Geographic Combatant Commander’s Emerging Force Requirements concerning Air Force equities for sourcing and employment. Conduct an annual requirements review.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in operational planning for combat support and logistics functions associated with the employment of airpower

-5+ years of experience as an Air Force logistics planner

-3+ years of experience in an Air Force Major Command or Numbered Air Force headquarters

-3+ years of experience in the Pacific Command theater of operations

-Active Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with USAF GFM policies, procedures, instructions, and execution

-TS/SCI clearance preferred
