Handheld Detector Trainer

Key Role:
Maintain responsibility for training US and multinational personnel on Defeat the Device (DtD) lines of effort. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) or trainer on multiple US handheld detection systems. Serve as the SME or trainer on mounted and dismounted route clearance operations, including the technical and tactical usage of relevant enablers, such as mounted vehicle platforms and dismounted equipment sets. Serve as an SME on Basic IED and Home Made Explosive (HME) awareness. Apply knowledge of UXO or IED SPOT reports, 5/25s, 5Cs, and vulnerable areas or points. Conduct training that includes the delivery of academic curriculum, such as classroom and the design and implementation of Enhanced Maneuver Training (EMT) lanes, such as practical exercises. This position requires the ability to conduct training via mobile training team (MTT) missions in partner nations throughout EUCOM and is located in Europe.

Basic Qualifications:
-2 years of experience in working with multinational forces or units 
-Active Secret clearance                         
-AA or AS degree and 7 years of experience with client operations, BA or BS degree and 3 years of experience with client operations, or 11 years of experience as a US Army NCO, Company or Field Guide Officer, or USMC, USAF, or USN equivalent in lieu of a degree              
-US Handheld Detector Systems Certification
-Mounted and Dismounted Route Clearance Operations Certification

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with USEUCOM theater of operations, including deployment in a combat or combat advisor role
-Experience at a US Army or US Service equivalent combat training center preferred
-Experience with training foreign military preferred

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
