Human Capital Management Consultant (HCM)

Key Role

Apply knowledge of talent management life cycle, talent strategy, career development, workforce planning, career path and succession management, and organizational design and development to provide subject matter expertise and recommendations to client stakeholders. Lead assessments, needs analyses, gap analyses, job analyses, competency modelling to diagnose areas of organizational performance improvement to present both strategic and tactical human capital initiatives to address client needs. Lead specialized leadership and staff development courses and coordinating with other subject matter experts, including instructional designers to tailor curricular programming to client requirements. Design and deliver competency frameworks, implement competency models to address behavioral, technical, and leadership requirements, and guide performance improvement initiatives, including performance appraisals, balanced scorecards, and the overall performance management cycle. Deliver coaching to client staff actively to build both human and institutional capacity through the implementation of talent strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with human capital management consulting in a professional work environment.

-Experience with leading client engagements, including project or task management

-Experience with applying key human capital practices for talent strategy, workforce development, performance management, and continuous improvement through KPI measurement, collection, and analysis

-Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and client presentation deck writing

-Experience with Microsoft Office

-Knowledge of instructional systems design (ISD), human capital business process mapping, and application of human capital tools and methodologies

-Ability to remain current on industry-leading practices and adapt those leading practices to the client’s situation and levels of organizational maturity and capacity.

-BA or BS degree in Human Capital Management, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or Organizational Behavior

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with active and passive recruitment and selection methods and processes -Experience with psychometric assessment a plus

-Experience with a mid- to top-tier external consulting firm preferred

-Experience with any e-learning applications, including Adobe Captivate

-Experience with leading human capital activities for Cybersecurity projects

-Experience with Cybersecurity concepts

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

-MA or MBA degree preferred; PhD degree a plus

-Instructional Design or a related Certification
