Intelligence Analyst

Key Role:

Analyze a variety of open-source information relevant to the use of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED) by threat actors throughout the Indo-Pacific region. Collect, collate, and analyze information to create comprehensive written products that detail the events, key players, organizations, and their socio-political impacts. Apply analytic tradecraft to develop research studies to create briefings and presentations and demonstrate subject matter expertise via exchanges with foreign counterparts. Produce ad hoc incident reports and analyses on specific threats, as requested.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience as an intelligence analyst for DoD or other federal agency

-Experience with Microsoft Office suite

-Knowledge of Irregular Warfare Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures

-Knowledge of Indo-Pacific regional politics, foreign policy, military, and culture

-Ability to interface with foreign dignitaries in a professional manner showcasing diplomatic acumen and maturity, occasionally without direct US government oversight

-Ability to conduct logical analysis and convey complex concepts through written, oral, and visual means

-Ability to use holistic open-source and classified research techniques to gather, collate, and report information

-Active TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of US intelligence community's mission, structure, and capabilities

-Knowledge of how IEDs are created, emplaced, and detonated

-Knowledge of threat actors operating in the Indo-Pacific region

-Possession of excellent writing, grammar, and spelling skills

-BA or BS degree

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
