Intelligence, Reconnaissance, and Surveillance SME

Key Role:

Serve as an Intelligence, Reconnaissance, and Surveillance (ISR) SME in support of USAFE–AFAFRICA or A5IX and as a program manager for all African ISR cases and ISR proposals. Develop ISR CONOPS and training plan in conjunction with AFRICOM or J29, country teams, SAF or IA, AFSAT and USAFE–AFAFRICA, or A2 staff. Plan and develop the organization's long range planning programs in accordance with objectives for growth and profitability and as delegated by the top long-range planning officer.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience in working with DoD entities

-6+ years of experience in working with DoD security cooperation or security assistance programs

-Experience with ISR operations

-Knowledge of formal USAF and DoD staffing and coordination processes

-Ability to be a self–starter, manage competing priorities in a fast–paced environment, work independently and as part of a team, analyze complex data, and prioritize tasks

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in International Relations or Foreign Policy

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with researching and analyzing legislation and federal regulations, including Chapter 16, Title 10, US Code

-Experience with security assistance policy and program management

-Experience in a military command at the headquarters level

-Experience with the Global Theater Security Cooperation Management Information System (G–TSCMIS)

-Experience with the Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS)

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree International Relations, Foreign Policy, or a related field

-Defense Institute for Security Cooperation Studies Training
