International Operations Business Process Consultant

Key Role:

Serve as a member of the corporate international operations team, providing guidance to international account and commercial account client teams seeking to do business internationally. Perform data management and reporting tasks to support international operations initiatives, research and assess viability of delivery in new geographies ​, and partner with business leads and functional experts to develop business cases for international expansion​. Work across industry partners to identify costs and risk in doing business outside the US. Monitor business travel to avoid tax and immigration triggers​ and create and maintain process maps, tools, artifacts, checklists, factsheets, and other documentation pertaining to international presence. ​Ensure risk matrix compliance ​and serve as an overall liaison between project teams and other corporate core functions, including recruiting, onboarding, legal, tax, payroll, and people services​. Perform cross functional project management for entity operations set-ups and partner with corporate core functions to improve international support. Lead internal team process improvement efforts, as directed and lead and support strategic initiatives for leadership, as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with international work or operations

-Experience with working across cross-functional stakeholders

-Experience with project management and change management

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel or PowerPoint at an intermediate level

-Knowledge of geopolitics

-Ability to be an organized multi-tasker and pay strict attention to detail and accuracy

-Ability to work with multiple stakeholders

-Ability to travel

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with common regulations, processes, procedures, or considerations involved in a US company operating outside the US

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

-MA or MS degree
