International Space Station Program Summer Internship Engineer

Key Role:

Assist with international Space Station (ISS) internal and external configurations and robotic kinematic analyses with significant use of 3D CAD tools. Assist with requirements verification, mass and aerodynamic property calculation, and development work in SharePoint, as needed. Leverage expertise in Python, Java, C# programming and virtual reality development. Work independently and part of larger team on client site.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with 3D CAD modeling, Siemens NX or PTC Creo

-Ability to work on large scale NASA programs

-Ability to use Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-Pursuing a BS degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or EE

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with SharePoint

-Knowledge of Python and Java programming or virtual reality development a plus

-Knowledge of Linux operating system, CentOS/RHEL preferred

-Knowledge of coordinate reference frame transformations in three-dimensional space
