IT Financial Analyst, Junior

Key Role:

Support quantitative and qualitative analyses and recommendations to improve federal government client performance through changes to strategy, organization structure, process, human capital or culture, IT, enterprise cost reduction, management practices, and cost drivers. Consult on identifying opportunities to improve the performance of client IT spending, including cost savings or avoidance and mission achievement. Analyze program and budget reports, financial presentations, and other materials to support the government client across IT planning and budgeting life cycle. Provide financial management and business process support to improve operations and increase process efficiency. Examine IT system artifacts, support process for IT capital planning and investment control, conduct business case analyses, and support IT project and performance management improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience as a management consultant, intern, government staff, or industry staff

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including creating accurate spreadsheets in Excel and presentations in PowerPoint

-Experience with completing individual tasks effectively

-Experience with working in a team environment

-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with analyzing program performance and financial or budget reports

-Ability to gather and analyze data effectively

-Ability to apply critical thinking to a wide variety of problems

-Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
