As a back end developer on our team, you’ll learn how to help customers overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches like domain-driven design and microservices. You’ll also have the opportunity to use open source frameworks and tools like Swagger. As part of our development team, you’ll help create a custom system with consistent performance and scalability. You’ll directly impact federal grants management by continuously delivering business value based on modern agile development practices. You Have:

-4+ years of experience with developing J2EE applications in an Agile environment

-Experience with technical analysis and documentation of complex functions in the system

-Experience with all phases of software development life cycle, including analysis, design, development, configuration management, implementation, integration, testing, debugging, and production maintenance

-Experience in working with the infrastructure and Tier 1 support teams to respond to and resolve issues

-Experience with generating complex database reports and queries for the client, including performance tuning

-Experience with designing robust architectural solutions and setting up, building, and deploying complex J2EE applications
-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with Java technologies, including J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, Spring, Struts, maven and ant build tool, XSLT, and XML

-Experience with database design, including stored procedures and DML and DDL tasks on Sybase database

-Experience with source control and configuration management using SVN, Rational ClearCase, and ClearQuest

-Experience with tools that include Rational Rose, Eclipse, Tiny MCE, and Agile tools

-Experience with mentoring and supporting junior team members working on troubleshooting production issues and maintaining Web-based software

-Knowledge of deploying applications on app servers, including WebLogic, GlassFish and Tomcat

-Knowledge of RDBMS concepts and designing and coding stored procedures using SQL

-Knowledge of UNIX shell scripting
