Measurement and Analysis Analyst, Junior

Key Role:

Establish and maintain measurement objectives that are derived from identified information needs and objectives. Provide feedback for refining and clarifying information needs and objectives as necessary. Review the data to ensure their completeness, integrity, accuracy, and currency. Store the data according to the data storage procedures. Support stored contents available for use only by appropriate groups and personnel. Prevent the stored information from being used inappropriately. Develop a comprehensive System Description Document (SDD) Predictive Modeling Framework, and provide leaders and practitioners combined strategic and tactical orientations to predictive analytics. Prepare Life Cycle Benefits Estimates (LCBE) in accordance with DoD I 5000.02 standards for all major automated information system (MAIS) and non-MAIS programs within the SDD project management office (PMO). Design and development of data warehouse that provides business intelligence for SDD acquisition and program management activities, including estimating and planning for various life cycle phases.

Basic Qualifications

-Experience in designing and building SDD measurement repository

-Experience in designing, developing, implementing, analyzing, and maintaining programs in languages, including R and Python

-Experience with statistical modeling, programming languages, including R, Python, machine learning, database concepts, such as data warehousing, data mining, and SQL, NoSQL, OLAP

-Experience in working with business intelligence tools, including COGNOS, MicroStrategy, Tableau, and Lumira

-Ability to provide support for On-Demand Analytics for SDD branches and PMO, including capability to process Big Data, such as unstructured data sets with large volume, requiring complex cleaning, linking and matching

-Ability to gather data, identify predictors, formulate statistical models, validate models as data becomes available

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree
