MENA Cryptologic Language Analyst

Key Role:

Support Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) mission operations for prioritizing and assessing information obtained from DCGS weapon system collection. Analyze and draft intelligence reports to satisfy signals intelligence (SIGINT) requirements. Provide traffic and advanced analysis in response to specific threats and incident reports based on emerging threats for predictive and reactive situations, as needed. Provide subject matter expertise (SME) in assigned mission sets and analytic processes and applications. Conduct SIGINT collection, processing, production, and dissemination (CPED) of timely intelligence data. Identify and tip off or report essential elements of information (EEI). Work in a fast-paced and highly flexible client and team environment and interact with clients and senior staff members from various organizations, including the firm and government agencies. This position is located in Fort Meade, MD.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience as a military cryptologic language or DoD civilian cryptologic language analyst

-4+ years of experience with conducting collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination of signals intelligence

-Experience with transcribing oral language

-Experience with analyzing adversary military activities and translating signals intelligence activities into written reports

-Experience with translating written materials into English

-Knowledge of military terminology

-Ability to work 24/7 rotating shifts, including days, swings, mids, or nights, as required
-Ability to display Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Arabic proficiency at L2+ or higher and reading proficiency at R2 or higher as measured by the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT), Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI), or commercial foreign language testing equivalent

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-AA or AS degree or 7+ years of experience with client operations in lieu of an Associate’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with signals intelligence platform capabilities and employment

-Experience with the analysis and identification of reportable indicators based on national- and theater-level requirements

-Experience with geospatial intelligence or all-source intelligence preferred

-Ability to display ILR listening proficiency of 3 or higher in Arabic for Leventine or Iraqi dialects as measured by the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT), Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI), or commercial foreign language testing equivalent preferred

-Ability to display ILR reading proficiency of 2+ or higher in Arabic for Levantine or Iraqi dialects

-AA or AS degree preferred; BA or BS degree a plus
-Military Cryptologic Language Analyst or Cryptologic Linguist specialty, including MOS, AFSC, or NEC or DoD Civilian Cryptologic Language Analyst or Cryptologic Linguist

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
