Military Capabilities Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Conduct thorough all-source analysis of ground order of battle information for the purpose of maintaining Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB) holdings for the US Africa Command (USAFRICOM) area of operations. Analyze data sets to identify changes or confirm current organizational, structural, equipment, and force capabilities contained in existing ground order of battle records. Develop collection requirements to address key information gaps. Write country overview studies for executive customers. Evaluate reported information and sources to refine future collections and reporting. Coordinate and collaborate with other agencies, as necessary.  

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience as an intelligence analyst

-5+ years of experience with conducting military capabilities analysis

-Experience with production and retrieval, including unit, installation or facility, equipment, and remark records

-Ability to work occasional weekends and travel occasionally, within the US and internationally
-Experience with the MIDB

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the Record Message Traffic (RMT) application, including using Boolean language searches

-Experience with developing and presenting order of battle assessments to the intelligence community (IC)

-Knowledge of other databases and software programs, including Multimedia Messenger (M3), Google Earth, Tripwire Analytic Capability (TAC), and Cedallion

-Knowledge of the African region

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
