Military Medical Trainer and Exercise Planner

Key Role:

Develop military medical training products and functional exercises related to USAF Home Station Medical Response. Conduct training sessions for medical contingency response teams with hands-on tactical drills and functional exercises for medical operations. Conduct individual skills evaluation of personnel and organizations to ensure compliance with training standards. Work with clients to ensure training meets required USAF standards. This position allows for remote delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience in a professional work environment

-5+ years of experience with DoD medical emergency response operations

-Experience with training a variety of audiences

-Experience with conducting medical training and evaluating medical expertise

-Experience with developing and conducting medical exercises
-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with US Air Force or Joint DoD exercise planning or emergency response operations

-Knowledge of DoD domestic medical response operations at individual or team and organizations levels

-Knowledge of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) operations, including medical treatment in a CBRN environment

-Knowledge of medical support activities, including medical logistics, medical command and control, laboratory, pharmacy, disaster mental health, triage, and patient administration

-Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the US and overseas

-Basic or Advanced Life Support Course
