Mission Command Chief Systems Architect Senior Manager

Key Role:
Work as a Mission Command systems architect, including assisting with business development, prototype design, prototype development, technical marketing, relationship development, proposal development, and account management, including conducting in-depth assessments of the customer’s mission command and networked application needs, providing network modeling and simulation testing, consulting to further clarify needs, and assessing the engineering of high-speed technology mission command to deliver application functionality. Leverage expertise in the subject matter as a balanced technical authority on Mission Command operations for a complex product portfolio to deliver increased efficiencies. Apply expertise in large scale systems engineering to ensure the delivery of unique systems architecture solutions while maintaining accountability for technical contributions to cost, schedule, performance, and stakeholder satisfaction. Apply knowledge of mission command applications, organizations, and requirements. Oversee non-technical responsibilities, including personnel management of a large, multi-level technical team, such as providing career development and mentoring support to a variety of engineering and support staff. 
 

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with the development of at least 2 Army Mission Command or ABCS Programs of Record in an Army PM office or developing prototypes in an Army S&T environment

-Knowledge of Army acquisition processes

-Knowledge of several Mission Command functions of movement and maneuver, command and control, fires, sustainment, protection, intelligence and engagement

-Knowledge of implementing the Army’s Common Operating Environment, PM MC fields, the Command Post Computing Environment (CP CE), and the Mounted Computing Environment (MCE) while facilitating interoperability between CP CE, MCE and other CEs

-Knowledge of data management, Cloud and distributed computing technologies, and tactical communications

-Ability to handle strategic planning, effective analytical thinking, team building, including interacting and collaborating with all levels and across organizations

-Active Top Secret clearance

-MS degree in CS, Engineering, or Networking

-Management Level I and SPRDE Level I Certifications

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-TS/SCI clearance

Clearance:
