The Challenge:

We need an experienced back end developer who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to help your customer overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches like open APIs and microservices alongside open source frameworks and tools. By leading the development of a custom MuleSoft and Salesforce integration with consistent performance and scalability, you’ll directly impact Army by managing the interchange of data between the server and the users, primarily focused on development of server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.  Perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of MuleSoft APIs built to support a variety of enterprise systems. Perform software design, integration architecture, and development. Work as part of a team with little supervision. Assist with training junior software engineering staff. Work in highly dynamic environment to integrate and exchange data between SalesForce platform Army Systems and MS Dynamics components residing in Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud. Perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of MuleSoft APIs built to support a variety of enterprise systems. Perform software design, integration architecture, and development. Work as part of a team with little supervision. Assist with training junior software engineering staff.

You Have:
-3+ years of experience with software application development

-2 years of experience with supporting or developing enterprise applications

-Experience in integrating SalesForce with other systems using the MuleSoft integration platform and configuring MuleSoft components on AWS environments
-Experience with Agile software development life cycle (SDLC), design, development, testing, and deployment phases

-Experience with Java and object-oriented programming, API data feeds, ingestion techniques, data mapping, data modeling, dependency injection, abstract classes and interfaces, access specifiers, collections, generics, exceptions, multi-threading and synchronization, and coding

-Experience with Spring and enterprise integration patterns, including asynchronous messaging, transformation, routing, and filtering and working with the Anypoint Studio of Mule ESB
-Experience with designing Web services, including REST and SOAP APIs, formal SDLC methodologies and tools, , includingAgile and JIRA, the API life cycle, solution architecture, technical documentation, including logical and physical architecture, and systems design artifacts

-Ability to demonstrate logical analysis and creative problem-solving and collaborate in an enterprise team environment

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in CS

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with microservices design, Spring framework, or message queuing

-Experience with Docker, continuous integration, automated testing, and DevOps

-Experience with Shell usage and scripting for Linux and Windows, OS-level security, including users, groups, and permissions, and network configuration

-Experience with abstract classes and interfaces, access specifiers, including private, protected, and public, collections, including list, map, and set, generics, exceptions, protocols, including HTTP, IP, TCP, UDP, and FTP, XML, JSON, SQL, including joins and grouping, Web Services, including WSDL and SOAP, RESTful services, and Spring, including properties and beans

-Experience with MuleSoft application deployment, including installation and configuration in the Mule Management Console (MMC), application deployment and monitoring and alerting in the AMC, performance troubleshooting, and MuleESB installation and configuration

-Experience with security, including LDAP, Oauth, SAML, SSL / TLS, Certificates (PKI), firewalls, and proxies or reverse proxies

Clearance:
