Network Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Leverage expertise in network engineering for the Technical Director in the Navy's Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Program Office. Analyze product solutions and network implementation plans across the Navy's Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, Tactical Networks, and Shore and Expeditionary Integration Program Offices. Assist the client with all interactions, including receipt and review of specifications, designs, and tests. Work with product owners and engineering teams to ensure optimized deployment and operation of solutions across various Navy and DoD networks.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with network engineering

-Experience with performing management, reduction, and analysis of data, designing tests, and laboratory analyses, including scientific analyses and interpretation of research results

-Experience with networking design and development to modify or improve functionality and reviewing, analyzing, and modifying systems, including development, testing, troubleshooting, and installing networks for defensive systems

-Knowledge of enterprise DoD network and computing services

-Knowledge of switching and routing, network storage, and virtualization technologies

-Ability to synthesize and translate highly-technical concepts for non-technical audiences

-Ability to write detailed status reports, adapt to changing priorities, exhibit self-management, and thrive on briefing senior program leadership

-Secret clearance

-BS degree in Engineering

-Current IASAE Level II Certification, including CASP+ CE, CISSP or Associate, or CSSLP

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with planning, designing, implementing, or maintaining Endpoint Security services, including Tanium, Endgame, and RedSeal

-Experience with configuring products and services on Navy and other DoD network and computing architectures

-Possession of excellent presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

-TS/SCI clearance

-BA or BS degree in CE, EE, ME, Systems Engineering, or Security Engineering preferred
