Network Security, Senior

Key Role:
Work with clients across the power and utility and oil and gas markets to architect, design, and implement their Cybersecurity requirements. Leverage Cybersecurity knowledge of monitoring, analyzing, detecting, and responding to Cyber events and incidents, including network and OT protection. Advise on an integrated, dynamic Cyber defense and leverage Cybersecurity solutions to deliver Cybersecurity operational services, including intrusion detection and prevention, situational awareness of network intrusions, security events and data spillage, and incident response actions. Test, implement, deploy, and operate the infrastructure hardware and software required to manage the organization’s Cybersecurity operational services effectively. Provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed. Represent the firm in a polished manner when engaging clients to build relationships and further enhance Booz Allen’s brand in the commercial marketplace. This position requires extensive travel to client sites for up to 80% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with network security technologies and design principles

-Experience with segmenting networks to reduce risk to the customer

-Experience with assessing, designing, or implementing security capabilities, including incident response, threat intelligence, security monitoring, or vulnerability management

-Experience with core enterprise infrastructure and security-supported technologies

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including developing polished high-end PowerPoint presentations

-Knowledge of OT protocols

-Ability to contribute to the identification and implementation of security solutions

-Ability to travel for at least 80% of the time

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with working for consulting firms, and utility industry or oil and gas

-Experience in working through the diverse technical aspects of Cybersecurity

-Experience with information security regulations or regulatory bodies, including NERC CIP

-Knowledge of information security program frameworks, including ISO, COBIT, or NIST

-Knowledge of securing electrical distribution networks and associated devices, including SCADA

-Ability to excel in face-to-face client interaction during project execution

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including providing substantive narrative input into client deliverables, reports, proposals, or marketing content

-BA or BS degree in MIS, CS, or a related technical field

-CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security Certifications
