Network Specialist/Messaging Communications Engineer

Key Role:

Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications. Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements. Design embedded systems software. Provide technical solutions to complex integration problems associated with business solutions built using Microsoft Lync Server 2010/2013 or Skype for Business. Use DoD information assurance practices, including STIGs.

Basic Qualifications:

-6 years of experience with applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis

-5 years of experience with telecommunications engineering disciplines and protocols, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, and test and verification

-1 year of experience as a team leader or supervisor

-Experience with planning, designing, implementing, or maintaining Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Certificate Authority, IIS, or Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2, 2010, and 2013

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree in CS, Information Systems Management, or Engineering required

-DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program IAT Level II Baseline Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Visio a plus

-Experience with the Air Force or other DoD clients

-Ability to be a self-starter, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision

-Possession of excellent team-oriented, team building, presentation, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
