Non-Combatant Evacuation Operation Exercise Planner, Senior

Key Role:
Work as a planner for the South Korean non-combatant evacuation operations (NEO) problem set, assisting the US Army Pacific (USARPAC) in its role as the US Pacific Command-designated Theater NEO Coordination Headquarters and NEO mission supported command. Analyze the development of a theater-wide NEO plan with USARPAC and analyze the creation of commensurate exercise plans, as directed. Contribute on the corresponding data analysis to design relevant, accurate, and realistic exercise materials that result in improved organizational mission performance, including planning, coordinating, and conducting Live–Virtual–Constructive Exercise Support. Plan and manage NEO exercise events that allow clients to discuss process initiatives and confirm viability and events to practice and execute processes to confirm efficiency and comprehension of performance and output expectations, including Operational Planning Teams (OPTs), In-Progress Reviews (IPRs), and After-Action Review (AAR). Support exercises using the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) format for all exercises, seminars, and engagements. Maintain responsibility for analyzing the formulation and development of assisting with implementing and documenting each assigned exercise, seminar, and engagement. Conduct NEO exercise preparation with partner nation civilian and military officials, including coordinating equipment support at the required training site and integrate US and partner nation exercise preparation activities to support respective training goals and objectives. This position requires the ability to travel to various countries for approximately 12-15 weeks per year, as required.

Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience with tactical or operational exercise planning at the brigade, division or Corps level
-2+ years of experience with conducting NEO planning and preparation at the Division or theater level
-Experience with an assignment to the Republic of Korea, Japan, or USARPAC
-Experience as an Army Colonel or Lieutenant Colonel
-Experience with the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP) or service equivalent
-Experience with the Five Stages of the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC)
-Knowledge of the Global Theater Security Cooperation Management Information System (G–TSCMIS)
-Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
-Active Top Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
