Offensive Cyber Planner

The Challenge:

Critical decisions are made every single day in the military. What if you could use your expertise in Cyber planning to enhance the mission effectiveness of one of the largest military organizations in the Pacific region? With all the information available today, it takes a skilled specialist to know how to interpret and deliver the best data to give their clients the right answers. If you have a strong desire to apply your experience as a Cyber planner and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to help enhance the security of US interests within the US Pacific Command’s (PACOM) area of responsibility.

As a Cyber planner, you will develop and integrate Cyber capabilities into plans, support action officers with planning, and maintain awareness of your client’s missions and priorities. You will author Operational Plans (OPLANS), Operational Orders (OPORDs), and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs), and periodically review them for relevance. You will participate in Joint Planning Groups and Teams (OPG/OPT), review lessons learned from real-world events, and analyze the shaping of future Cyber operations. You will review DoD, Pacific Command (PACOM), service and component policies, directives, strategies, and concept papers for accuracy and operational relevancy and research and provide comments to staff and internal and external stakeholders.
