Operational Design Trainer

Key Role:

Support a government client by developing curricula and instruction to further the application of Operational Design (OD) theory and methodology into real world Cyberspace planning efforts. Provide basic, advanced, and theoretical OD courses and instructional support. Develop, facilitate, and conduct training of client staff members in the OD methodology, both CONUS and OCONUS. Develop scenarios and projections for training that incorporate the most likely and most dangerous Cyber threats as they exist in the current environment. Develop student feedback forms that will be used to evaluate knowledge gained through the execution of the course and assess student’s individual level of understanding of the course and curriculum. Review and assess all processes, products, and events at course conclusion to determine what adjustments need to be made for future workshops. 

Basic Qualifications:

-5 years of experience with training

-3 years of experience in a Cyberspace environment

-Ability to pay strict attention to detail

-Ability to travel ~50% of the time to present course material

-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Joint Operations Planning

-Experience with applying Operational Design theory and methodology

-Experience with developing theater campaign plans and subordinate contingency plans

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
