Operational Energy Policy and Governance Analyst

Key Role:

Work with organizations to redesign business processes. Provide clients with management consulting on organization redesign and new business processes. As a member of the project team, assist in the analysis and implementation of process improvements. Develop an expertise in a specific industrial specialty and strengthen project management skills. Support practice development initiatives and assist the business development team with writing proposals. Work with junior and mid-level client staff for information and data collection and participate in client meetings. Supervise and review the work of junior personnel and provide training.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with energy topics, including operational energy, and analyzing policy

-Experience with scheduling and coordinating senior leader engagements

-Experience with interfacing and briefing mid- to senior-level military officers and government civilians

-Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

-Ability to task, track, and manage contractor and government-provided deliverables in support of operational energy governance

-Ability to write high-quality assessments and briefings for a senior-level audience

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with a Air Force or major command client

-Experience with mobility Air Force or combat Air Force fuel efficiency issues

-Experience with project management

-Experience in process improvement tools and techniques

-Knowledge of energy related subject matter

-Knowledge of energy policy development for a government or industry client

-Ability to exhibit flexibility, adaptability, and work in a collaborative team environment

-Possession of excellent leadership, research, and interpersonal skills

-Possession of excellent analytical skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree

Clearance:
