Personnel Recovery Doctrine Writer

Key Role:

Use doctrine to support training document development for isolated soldier training for teams and crews through Battalions. Identify, analyze, and evaluate personnel recovery doctrine relating to operating in isolation, post-isolation screening, post-isolation reintegration, and post-isolation debriefing. Develop doctrine for survival, evasion, and captivity. Develop doctrine to support training documents for the Personnel Recovery Officer to conduct PR training events at Battalion through Corps.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience as a lead doctrine author

-1+ years of experience with full-time training development using the Army Training Development Capability database

-Experience with conducting PR operations and developing PR doctrine and training

-Knowledge of CJCSI 3270.01B, DoDD 3002.01, DoDI O-3002.05, AR 11-33, AR 5-22, AR 525-28, TR 25-36, TR 350-70, JP 3-50, ADP/ADRP/FM 3-0, ADP/ADRP/FM 5-0, ADP/ADRP/FM 6-0, ADRP 1-02, ADP/ADRP/FM 3-90 series, FM 3-50, FM 3-94, FM 6-99, ATP 3-50.21, ATP 3-50.22, or ATP 3-50.20 manuals

-Secret clearance required

-BA or BS required

-Graduate of Army SERE Level-C course

-Prior military service in the US Army Military Forces; awarded an 18-Series MOS required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with S3, Operations Sergeant Major, or Battle Staff NCO (ASI Q8)

-Experience with training, advising, and assisting FORSCOM units preparing for PR operations

-Prior service in US Army Combat Arms
