Ports, Protocols, and Services Management, Lead

Key Role:

Monitor customer programs’ registrations in the DoD Registry for discrepancies and support the client program and the client service management TAG representative through the service management resolution process, including processing DoD service management Component Local Service Assessments (CLSA), Further Action (FA) requests, Non-Standard Boundary and Port Exception requests, and Banned Services Exception requests. Maintain proficiency in information systems security, networking and infrastructure, and technical documentation comprehension. Assess vulnerabilities and appropriate implementation strategies for use of protocols and services and their associated ports. Use the Category Assurance List (CAL) as the authoritative source for ports, protocols, services, networks environments, and boundary combinations. Perform technical reviews of new and existing DoD program and support assessments for boundary protection improvements. Analyze information and relate findings of the RMF controls to the greatest extent possible, so the risk assessments are easier to quantify. Review and offer comment and recommendation on exception requests.

Basic Qualifications:

-7 years of experience with DoD program management

-5 years of experience with aggregate experience involved in implementation of the use of IP protocols, application, systems and data services

-Active Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in IT or Cyber related discipline

-8570/8140 Compliance at the IAM II level

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Configuration management in RMF

-Experience with networking administration of boundaries and firewalls

-Experience in developing and seeing completion of circuit accreditation packages

-Experience with eMASS

-Knowledge of registering PPS in the DoD Central Registry and process all PPSM requests IAW DoD Instruction 8551.1

-Ability to develop charts, graphs, and data visualization in PowerPoint

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent management, customer and team communication engagement skills

Clearance:
