Pricing Manager

Key Role:

Act as a lead for providing pricing strategy and business guidance for pricing, and estimating a wide range of proposals across a large portfolio of business, including working closely with account leaders, pricing staff and proposal teams, as they are developing and managing proposal submission efforts and associated strategies. Drive collaboration in developing and estimating pricing targets, including risk mitigation and business strategies and review and analyze key opportunities, assess and suggesting proposal strategies to achieve pricing and business objectives, including following compliance requirements and guidelines, and refined bid strategy. Provide subject matter expertise and develop and maintain relationships with key internal client and colleagues. Drive development of leading edge government or commercial type proposal practices and tools, within the pricing team. Assist with developing best practices for team-wide policies and processes, including analyses for cost estimating, price points, competitiveness, solicitations, risk, trade-offs and optimization. Assess and recommend strategies in the context of reseller agreements, contract vehicles, teaming and subcontract agreements, and proposals to government and commercial clients. Monitor pricing performance for competitiveness and business performance, and resolve or escalate problems that may impact competitiveness, performance or execution.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with federal government accounting, finance, contracting, proposal development, project management or compensation analysis, including pricing strategies, structures, tools and communications

-4+ years of experience with a federal government services pricing environment

-Experience with contract vehicles, including GSA schedules and government-wide acquisition contracts with knowledge of FAR, especially FAR Parts 12 and 15 and agency supplements, estimating systems and cost accounting standards

-Experience managing or leading teams

-Experience with identifying competitive price points

-Knowledge of aspects of business metrics, negotiation, accounting practices, contracts administration and project management

-Ability to obtain security clearance

-BA or BS degree or 4 years of experience as a pricing analyst in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications
-Experience with commercial product sales or pricing and accounting methodologies regarding key terms, warranties, IP and commercial pricing for a blend of commercial and government clients

-Experience with financial analyses such as value tradeoffs, cashflow, profitability, warranty or risk assessments.

-Experience with fixed-price systems delivery proposals or contracts, including proposals for the software development lifecycle, systems delivery, and other IT services associated with customized software and COTS or GOTS solutions

-Knowledge of Tableau

-Knowledge of Software pricing systems, including ProPricer, COBRA, MPM, or PP

-Ability to successfully support a quick paced, high-volume, diverse and changing, deadline driven workload
