Project Manager, Lead

Key Role:

Work on a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment to help plan, manage and support the corporate contracts team, procurement and pricing organization’s processes, organizational systems and tools, communications, training efforts, and project initiatives. Serve as a project manager, maintain responsibility for planning and managing projects to meet delivery, quality, and cost goals supporting corporate contract and other firm initiatives. Develop requirements, identifying and completing tasks, coordinating, collaborating with other team members, creating and tracking project schedules, and producing required deliverables. Capture, synthesize, and summarize key points from interviews, working groups, and other internal meetings, translate insights into executive level deliverables, products, and communications. Prepare materials for internal presentations, papers, trainings, FAQs, leadership talking points and briefings for a wide range of audiences, including senior executive level. Manage content on a set of internal resource Web sites for the contracts, subcontracts, and procurement staff.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience working in a corporate or government environment

-3+ years of experience with project management, and developing strategic and executive-level communications and materials

-Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Knowledge of project management methodologies, processes and best practices, and knowledge of application of change management practices

-Ability to interact and network effectively with all levels of staff, including senior leadership

-Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and to think conceptually, strategically and learn quickly

-Ability to meet deadlines, adhere to project plans, ensure any conflicts are brought to the attention of the management team, multi–task, and work on several projects simultaneously

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, Tableu and Sharepoint preferred

-Experience with change management processes and best practices

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-PMP Certification
